One thing the Luangphone family knows how to do is consistently make exceptionally well seasoned crawfish. It's so good my family & I drive from Dallas at least twice a year during the season to get some (four years and counting at this point). Crawfish Tyme is well located off of East 70th street, on a bit of on an incline off the main road. The way that it's designed makes it easy to get in and out without blocking traffic. I like their style of service as well. You drive up into a numbered spot, they come out to take your order, collect your payment and bring it out to you once it's ready. Everyone is friendly, wait times aren't long at all, and everything is FRESH. I'm not exaggerating when I say my crawfish are still warm & ready to eat when I make it back to Dallas. My only pain point is that their phone never seems to work when I call, so if you're traveling from out of town like me & want to be sure to catch them during crawfish season just be sure to stop through between February and June.

Great taste! We went all the way from California and heard about this store. Waiting for 30 minutes is really worth. We ordered crawfish and shrimp, both of which tasted so so good. Especially the shrimp, all the spice com together just right.

Very delicious! I will be back. The sausage is a good size very tasty. Crawfish are plump and seasoned to perfection. They are spicy as well. The corn and Potatoes were yummy!

Just moved here and found the hidden gem of Louisiana crawfish. Can't say enough about this place as it's good overall. A great take out place to grab yourself a couple of pounds of crawfish. Oh and their shrimp is amazing with their sauce. Seasoned well and boiled just right. Eating crawfish is doesn't need to always be in a restaurant. This place hits the spot and I am so happy they are around. Staff is friendly and food is good what more can u ask for. I even took some back to California and they loved it and ask me bring them more. If you want to support a local own business and go where the locals go and not break the bank this is the spot. You can't go wrong when the crawfish speaks for itself

The food here tasted great! It was just the right amount of spicy and salty. This joint is strictly to go, so you'll have to take your food to dine on it elsewhere. It stays hot in the styrofoam containers though. We ordered 2 pounds of crawfish, a pound of shrimp, 2 sausage links, 4 corn, and 4 potatoes. Docking a star because while the crawfish ($5.49#), corn (2/$1), and potatoes (4/$1) were priced right, $4 for a sausage link and $18.99# for shrimp is really pretty outrageous. The potatoes were a little rotten looking as well, so they could sort through those a little bit better. As I said though, the flavor is great, so we can kind of forgive the price on their non-crawfish items. Stick to the crawfish though and your stomach and your wallet will thank you!

This is take out only place for crawfish. The boiled crawfish go for $5.43/lb here (April 2016) and son and colleagues say it's one of the best tasting and better valued crawfish places in town. We picked up a 10 lb bag for lunch. Quite good, and a bit of noticeable but nice spice level to their seasoning. The accompanying optional potatoes, sausage, and corn are more on bland side but nicely compliment the spicier crawfish.
